ASIAN ANTI-TRAFFICKING FORUM 2020
COVID-19 has transformed the manner in which every part of society operates. Operation Red Alert of My Choices Foundation is assessing how we have operated since the COVID-19 lockdown was announced in India in mid-March 2020.
On the occasion of World Day Against Trafficking In Persons (July 30th), we organized an online conference on Thursday, July 30th 2020 from 10:00am to 12:00pm to discuss trafficking in India, how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our work and the way forward from here. We invited NGOs, academics, students and concerned citizens to be a part of our conference which you can watch here:
In addition to the expert subject matter of the guest speakers, we had the opportunity to hear from the coordinators of each of the 8 states where Operation Red Alert is working to raise awareness on their anti-trafficking work. Personal stories of impact and transformation are the stories that make our anti-trafficking Safe Village Programs worth conducting.
We invite you to learn from the forum and get in touch with us at [email protected] to partner with Operation Red Alert or request further information.
Your donations make it possible for us to give families the choice to keep their girls safe from exploitation and violence. Help us educate more families, bring awareness to India and run its first national anti-sex trafficking helpline.
