My Choices Foundation is so grateful to have received recognition for our work to eliminate abuse, violence and exploitation against women and girls. Each recognition is an applause for the work that our PeaceMakers, Counselors, Coordinators and Implementing Partners do in the field. We are humbled by our mission and grateful for the recognition of our impact.

1-ESOMAR-Awards
My Choices Foundation’s research report on the determinants of male behaviour on the supply and demand of sex-trafficking won the world’s most prestigious market research award. It has been presented at ESOMAR events three times, and received a $100,000 ad campaign through ESOMAR to champion efforts of market research focussed on social impact.
My Choices Foundation won the Grand Jury award for Women Empowerment at the Social Media for Empowerment Awards 2016 by the Digital Empowerment Foundation. We were acknowledged for our consistent campaigning to end domestic violence and child sex trafficking.
Our founder Elca Grobler was honoured by UNSW for Social Impact and Public Policy. She was selected out of 290,000 graduates from 146 countries for this prestigious alumni award.
Tharuni in collaboration with Terre des Hommes Netherlands as part of Girls Advocacy Alliance has awarded Mr. Vivian Isaac, Program Director, Operation Red Alert the “Balika Bandhu Award” for his exemplary and relentness work in improving the lives of girls and women in India.
My Choices Foundation founder Elca Grobler was recognized for 3 years in 2018, 2019 and 2020 as one of the 100 Most Impactful CSR Leaders, by World CSR and World Sustainability Congress and World Federation of CSR Professionals. My Choices Foundation is grateful for our CSR partners who make so much of our work possible.
eNGO Challenge 2019 is aimed to recognise, facilitate and award organisations that have done some exceptional work with communities and subjects using any kind of new age tools. My Choices Foundation won the Grand Jury Award for Women Empowerment at the Social Media for Empowerment Awards, 2016 by Digital Empowerment Foundation.
My Choices Foundation Founder, Elca Grobler, spoke at India’s flagship TEDx event – TEDxHyderabad in 2017 on how we founded My Choices Foundation in Hyderabad, India back in 2012.
We partnered with Oculus and Facebook to create the world’s first VR Documentary on Sex Trafficking. The film was showcased at Sundance Film Festival in January, 2017 then became an official selection of SXSW Film Festival where it made its world premier in March, 2017.
My Choices Foundation marked the 100th birth anniversary of The Elders’ founder, Nelson Mandela through the #WalkTogether movement that took place across the world, being honoured by The Elders with the global title of one of the 100 Sparks of Hope to continue the inspiring work of Nelson Mandela.
In October 2018, Operation PeaceMaker was chosen as one of the top 5 ideas globally in the BridgeBuilder Challenge organised by GHR Foundation and Open IDEO. The 2018 BridgeBuilder Challenge called for ideas that address the urgent and emergent concerns of peace, prosperity and planet.
My Choices Foundation founder Elca Grobler was chosen out of 17,000 alumni over the last 40 years at the AGSM Business School to receive recognition for her accomplishments. The work of My Choices Foundation was also chosen as the subject of the AGSM short documentary, created to fundraise for the MBA scholarship program.
The CII Foundation Woman Exemplar Program recognizes exemplary women working at the grassroots. In 2018, Hajera Unnisa of Operation PeaceMaker was selected as on of the top finalists for the CII Woman Exemplar program and has undergone a 1 year leadership program by CII.
